Douglas Silver's fiction has appeared in The Sun, The Cincinnati Review, New England Review, The Chicago Tribune Printers Row Journal, Crazyhorse, Callaloo, and elsewhere. His work was cited as a "Distinguished Story" in Best American Short Stories 2019. An Elizabeth George Foundation grant recipient and former writer-in-residence at the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation, he lives in New York City where he is Founder and Executive Director of Gotham Food Pantry.
